About the Inn
Built in 1873 and recently renovated to provide for today's needs, our Inn is decorated throughout in a rustic farmhouse style. Our spacious guest rooms all have private baths, sitting areas, AC, comfy linens, specialty soaps, TVs and charging stations. Internet service is available throughout with no additional charge. Our common areas include both a living room with gas fireplace and pub area for you to relax and enjoy your vacation.
The beauty of the White Mountains surrounds us and the Inn is just steps away from a wide array of restaurants, shops and attractions.
We offer off-street parking for all of our guests.
Better at the Birch
At the White Birch Inn of North Conway our goal is to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can relax and rejuvenate during your stay in the White Mountains. We're here for you as little or as much as you need us to be.
About Your Innkeepers
After purchasing our Chalet in Birch Hill in 2014 we would travel back and forth between Stoneham, MA and North Conway, NH as much as possible. On our return trips home we’d always talk about the “what ifs” and the “one day”. What if we made a total lifestyle change and relocated full time to North Conway? Why wait for one day? So we decided to take a risk and make "one day" a reality and here we are, innkeepers!
Now we are fully immersed in the beauty and fun of the Mount Washington Valley and are so glad we made the leap!
We look forward to our new adventure and can't wait to meet you!
Your hosts, Jim and Catherine (Cat) Pucci
Pets in Residence
I'm Mulligan. My people named me this because I was born on the streets and needed a second chance to have a pampered life. Those who've met me know I am not the brightest bulb on the tree but I make up for that in the looks department! I'm a pretty handsome dude if I say so myself. Unless I escape into the inn you won't see much of me because I like to circle your feet and stand behind you when you're not looking. I do this to my people a lot.
I'm Jax. I'm named after the old Jax Brewery in New Orleans. I don't know why but my first people surrendered me to a shelter. But don't feel bad for me because I picked out Jim and Cat and never looked back. Yup, reeled them right in with my charm and good looks. Like my brother Mulligan, unless I escape into the inn you won't see much of me either. I LOVE to be held hammock style and I give strong kitty hugs, but only get down when I want to. So I tend to overstay my welcome.
I'm Guinness. Yep you guessed it, named after the beer. I'm not much of a dogs, dog but boy do I LOVE people! You'll see me around the inn with my people, but if you are not a dog person just let my people know and I'll go hang with my cat buddies. I'm not offended. But once you meet me and I give the, "my people never pay attention to me look", you'll want to pat me and give me a treat. That trick never gets old.
